Join educators Donalyn Miller and Jennifer LaGarde for this second in a series of fun, interactive workshops focusing on how to create and sustain reading joy during these unusual times.

We want all young people to live in “book floods” with meaningful access to books at school and home. Unfortunately, too many kids live in “book deserts” without continuous access to books. The good news is that we live in a time when using technology to ensure book access is more possible than ever.  This session includes strategies, resources, and book recommendations for connecting readers with stories, information, and one another. Session features a surprise guest author!

Later sessions include conversations about Choice, and Sustaining Reading Communities. You can view our first session on reclaiming time HERE, and our third session on encouraging choice, HERE
